Cait has always loved books and reading, but she never thought to make a career out of it until after launching her book blog, Functionally Fictional, in 2018. Since then, she’s worked with authors from all over the world at all stages of their publishing process. From debut novels to bestsellers, she’s seen it all and has loved building a life out of this passion.
She has a BA in forensic psychology and an MFA in creative writing, with a certificate in professional writing, all from Southern New Hampshire University. When Cait’s not working on other authors’ books, she’s writing and publishing her own. She is a bestselling multi-genre author under two pen names (Cait Marie and CM Haines). She also loves working on digital art, her bullet journal, playing with her cats, and listening to way too much Taylor Swift.
